THE GREAT HARVEST

"The HARVEST truly is great, but the laborers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the HARVEST, that He would send forth laborers into His HARVEST." Luke 10:2
God's harvest field of souls is ripe and ready to bring in. All He is waiting for are those who will work with and for Him.  Lord, help me to be willing to be used of you.

THE HOUSE OF THE LORD

"I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord."   (Psalm 122:1)
Tonight is the last night our church will hold services in this building.  For at least 150 years, Baptists have held their services here!  Now we have outgrown it and will be holding our first service in the newly built building this coming Sunday. I will miss its historical heritage, its beautiful stained glass windows, and its location next to the city park.  But, the church is not just a building; it is the people that make up her congregation.  May God bless the new building and location and add greatly to its congregation!

GREEN IN TIMES OF DROUGHT

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her LEAF SHALL BE GREEN; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."  (Jeremiah 17:7,8)
