THE PEN OF A READY WRITER

Psalm 45:1 says that "my tongue is the pen of a ready writer."

I've let this blog go for almost a year now to my dismay.

It is my prayer that I will do better at being a ready writer and photographer to encourage whoever may stumble across this blog. May I be a blessing to you in the months to come. -Sharon Wilhite

ORANGE OVATIONS

Too many ORANGE Photos - too little week left!  Orange has never been my favorite color, but I do like a few qualities that it possesses.  Orange is BRIGHT. Orange is ENERGIZING.  Orange is HAPPY.  What would we do without  a beautiful orange sunset, a bright orange marigold, or a brilliant monarch butterfly?  God's creations wouldn't be the same without it!

I AM THE ROSE...

"I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys."
(Song of Solomon 2:1)

God has created so many beautiful, extraordinary, unique, and yes, even rather strange, varieties of flowers.  Jesus is the rose blooming in every desert of our life, and is the lily of every one of our valleys.  Which flower characterizes your personality, your ministry in the life of others?  May our lives bring beauty and sweet perfume to those around us. (And being uniquely different just adds to your rareness as the daughter of the King!)

THE HEAVENS DECLARE...

"The heavens declare the GLORY OF GOD; and the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. THIRSTING FOR GOD

"Ho every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters..." Isaiah 55:1

"Jesus stood and cried, saying  If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly (heart) shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37, 38.  ONLY  Jesus Christ can satisfy our thirst for spiritual things.  Come to Him today.  He will never disappoint or leave you thirsty!
