AS THE DEER...

"As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.  My soul thirsts for God, for the living God..." (Psalm 42:1,2)      Does my soul really thirst to see the face of God each new morning and at the end of a long day?  Do I thirst for God's presence as I do when longing for a tall, icy drink when I'm outside on a hot, summer day?    O Lord, make me "as the deer" that I would long for, search for, find, and be satisfied with YOU each and every day of my life!

"Ho every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters..." Isaiah 55:1

"Jesus stood and cried, saying  If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly (heart) shall flow rivers of living water." John 7:37, 38.  ONLY  Jesus Christ can satisfy our thirst for spiritual things.  Come to Him today.  He will never disappoint or leave you thirsty!
